A unique ensemble of contemporary and heritage as Palladium introduced its limited collection with British designer Neil Barrett. No stranger to art of “mixing it up”, Barrett’s skill sets, talents, and versatility all are invaluable as the designers trounced on challenges after challenges, seasons after seasons. There was the Italian National Football Team’s uniform in the 2006 World Cup, a prime example of his acumen in sportswear. And a stint at Parada, which many now credited for the start of the minimalist looks in men’s wear.
Much like those transitions before, Barrett embarked on another creation of mix and match. A formula of militarism and progressive notions, the Palladium boots by Neil Barrett is a new take of the classic Palladium Pampa Baggy. However, in a complete new construct of generous leather accompaniments, from waxed, patent, to nubuck. The outsole the perfect example of balance as well, rugged enough for urbanites to overcome their daily obstacles yet retained much of the wear-ability for comfort.
In addition to the previously announced color schemes, Palladium just introduced another addition, in the form of velvety light brown, which the label aptly called “Dust”. The Neil Barrett x Palladium Collection, in both black and dust, goes on sale at all major retailers, including Bloomingdales (NY), Kitson (LA), Browns (London), and Palladium’s own online store, worldwide starting today.
