uniform experiment – Fall/Winter 2010 – Lookbook

By - July 30th, 2010

Tailored yet playful, naughty yet grown– Japan’s Uniform Experiment plays with the question of boundaries and explores the guy who is both a man and a boy. School boy blazers are paired with graphic ties and brightly colored scarves, yet given a slight sense of seriousness with a touch of a pocket square– though in youthful polka dots. Styles are deliberately mixed as a somber grey suit is paired with collegiate crewneck sweatshirts, and military styles have been adopted by the painterly and then touched up with a dandy bow-tie. The interesting vibe about this collection is a daring attempt of vintage-shopping looks which work, but at the same time, with Uniform Experiement’s touches, everything is quite decisively new and there is no mistake in this collection being one to mimic the glorious worn and used. Check out the look book and get a little inspiration to be sartorially courageous this coming season.
