DOC x UPPER PLAYGROUND AUGUST 570x393 Dustin Canalin for Upper Playground August 2010 Collection

Hi “Government Names” series for Upper Playground was a success and Dustin Canalin is back for more with the second series that is inspired by the Bay Area, its sports culture and ‘yesterday, today and tomorrow’ as Canalin himself puts it. “Say Hey” design is a homage to Willie Mays aka “The Say Hey Kid” who got inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame back in 1979. With his face illustration on the front and his jersey number 24 printed on the back. More on a social note, “There Goes The Neighborhood” design addresses the current gentrification that is slowly taking over your city. Last of the designs is inspired by Slick Rick and his classic phrase ‘Hey Young World… The World Is Yours’ in which the Earth is dressed like The Ruler himself in an old school way.

Wow, people still make/wear garbage like this? This looks like 1990's 10 year old shirts from Conway. Trash.
