Casio G Shock x Surfrider Foundation Launch Event

Continuing their relationship from last summer’s hit collaboration in celebrating Surfrider Foundation’s 25th year of protecting the world’s waters, G-Shock has brought the Surfrider team back again this summer for a second collaboration. As previously reported, this time around, the collaboration is based on the classic GRX5600 model. Of course, combining Surfrider’s hangten aesthetics with G-Shock’s high tech functions, the new collaborative watch is packed with every imaginable function a surfer could use and want. Self-charging, Tough Solar Power Technology, shock resistance, recycled packaging, Tide Graph function, 100 pre-set site locations and Moon Age & Phase Data indicator makes this the perfect companion for surfers who trot the globe in search of the big waves. To celebrate the launch of the limited edition watch, G-Shock and Surfrider Foundation held an intimate launch party at the Hilton Water Front Resort in Huntington Beach, just steps away from the US Open of Surfing.

Check out the event recap of the launch held all the way on the other side of the country by the sunny Pacfic Ocean. The watch is available now online at G-Shock, so do visit the watch as a portion of the proceeds will be donated to help perpetuate the good work the Surfrider Foundation has been doing!
