The ambitious pirate captain (no, not Captain Jack Sparrow), Luffy D Monkey, from hit Japanese epic manga, One Piece, has been roped in by New Era as an inspiration for a new 59Fifty Fitted Cap that is perfect for the last bits of summer sunshine, sand and the sea. The new fitted cap is modeled after Luffy’s famed straw hat that he is never without (he freaks out whenever it gets slightly damaged or lost), and features a weave linen upper with the iconic red band around it. On the underside of the hat brim is the wanted poster of Luffy, which shows up quite frequently in the manga series. The hat is now available at the Amazing Store.
