Supreme Fall/Winter 2010 Collection Lookbook

A mixture of sportswear, a little prep, a little bit of military and rock and roll, Supreme seems to head into the Fall/Winter 2010 season drawing influences from the vintage New York downtown, with a strong focus on outerwear. In the look book, the Supreme man is a little grunged and seems like he could belong in any of the 70s, 80s or 90s era, while looking uncannily timely. Tan canvas bombers are worn with a subtle maroon button down, nylon shell fur-lined parka paired with a scholarly knit sweater over oxfords, and military styled M65 jackets have been re-tailored in a gentlemanly tweed. In the same story of updating through details, the denim jacket gets a new life with a leather collar. Aside from a myriad of outerwear styles, Fall/Winter 2010 is quite a prints galore as camouflage and leopard prints make gracious appearances, though the wild leopard print is hidden quite clandestinely from sight and used as lining for a bright red trench. The over all look seems to point to the vintage shopping culture back in the day where liberal layering and mixing were the norm and the sartorial rule of thumb was that, there wasn’t any rules.
