There is nothing like learning from the best, and for the Nike who strives for action and constant vigilance for excellence and performance, they only brought on board the best in game to educate the kids. As a part of the Nike Make Something!! initiative, the sportswear giant has enlisted the help of their own designers and also renowned figures in the creative industry such as Carrie Munden of Cassette Playa to teach the kids from New York a thing or two about design, art and creativity. This time around, Nike has brought photographer and film maker, Ari Marcopoulos (recently known for his short film, "No Way Back" for Yves Saint Laurent) to talk to the kids about photography, and give them a little hands on session with the camera.
Marcopoulos took the kids out, had fun, shot pictures of each other, and compiled the images of the day into a zine, called "The Guy". Check out the video recap of the event, and hear what Marcopoulos has to say about his day.
