WHIZ Limited rolls out their Fall/Winter 2010 Collection, “Curtain Call”, and all we can think about is yelling for an encore. As one of the strongest players in Japanese street wear, WHIZ Limited, continues to bring its A game into Fall/Winter, mixing the key elements of Japanese street wear– details, subtlety, versatility and tailoring– into a very wearable collection. “Curtain Call” retains a slightly overcast vibe on the look book, but polka-dotted shell jackets, colors and prints seem to point towards something slightly more energetic. Aside from urban staples such as hooded windbreakers, the label also ventured into suits this season with a slightly boxier blazer. Work wear shirts, cardigans remixed with youthful graphics are paired with caps to remind all that WHIZ still belongs to those who roam the concrete jungle. Encore indeed.
