For this 580, which we previewed some time ago, New Balance’s design inspiration was the famed MA-1 flight jacket. The sneaker features a ripstop nylon upper in army green. Orange accents appear on the lining, the heel, and on the “N,” though the midfoot logo can be swapped out for a army green one, which would give the upper a nice monochromatic look. The inner membrane is Gore Tex protected, so you can get your urban romp on in style. According to Kix-Files, where these are now on sale, there will be a second model in this pack, inspired by the B-3 (which we also previewed a while back), releasing soon, so keep your eyes peeled.
