This pair of Fall/Winter 2010 Aquadunk Hi Skinny from Nike can be described with two words starting with "U"-- unique, and unusual. First off, the styling-- the popular Dunk Hi silhouette has been trimmed down to a "skinny" status, and then endowed with a zipper in the heel so no lacing and unlacing would be needed to put the shoes on. Not to mention it will help keep the shape of the front part of your shoes intact. Second, the material used is atypical for sneakers. Instead of a nylon upper or something to that effect, Nike has opted for Neoprene, which is a synthetic rubber commonly found on wetsuits and other aquatic gear, hence lending the name, "Aquadunk Hi Skinny". The sneakers have been kept simple in a monochrome black or grey with a subtle stitched outline for the Swoosh. These are currently available online via colette. We are quite sure, Aqua Man would concur, if he ever leaves the ocean, that is.
