Superdry Planned North America Expansion

It traces its origin to England, the orientation of its design is classic Americana, and yet, its branding features Japanese kanji characters. Anyone who took Marketing 101 knows that it is never a good thing when a label suffers from an “identity crisis”. That is with the exception of Superdry. Since its arrival to North America, specifically New York City, earlier this year, the UK-base label has been on an expansion spree, with second store in Woodbury Commons (Upstate New York) and soon, at San Francisco’s Westfield. Aside from its namesake standalone boutiques, there are plans to bring the premium, yet affordable casual wears to more third party retailers, in addition to existing accounts at large department store chains like Macy’s and Bloomingdales. In the meantime, the complete line of Superdry apparel and accessories, including items from the Fall 2010 Collection, are all available at Superdry store on Broadway of New York and its online store.
