For men, G-Star has recently released its Fall 2010 collection of raw and distressed denim, some more military-inspired than others. But for the ladies, some of G-Star’s highlights are highly constructive dresses with drapey silhouettes, zippers, and crowl necks held back with Velcro fastening. G-Star has also taken on reinterpreting the shirt-dress, which has been a popular item for the ladies since it came into the sartorial spotlight a few years ago. This year, the shirt-dress slightly more feminine with a tad of a babydoll shape, but a little more rugged with two-chest pockets, rivets and more visible stitching. These are currently available at retailers such as Standard.
