Does Modernist automatically equate bland, streamlined designs? Andrew Buckler, the designer behind the label Buckler certainly don’t think so. By merging the ideal of Bauhaus School and the 1924 Summer Olympics, specifically the triumph of English runners Eric Liddell and Harold Abrahams, Buckler created a collection, with the help of Warriors Footwear, which embodied a perfect juxtaposition between the two concepts, those expressed in the Modernism and those from contemporary athleticism.
