With the world’s attention focusing on New York City because of fashion week, let’s not forget that some of the most dynamic designs in men’s fashion today are actually half the world away in Tokyo. This includes designer Yosuke Aizawa and his label, White Mountaineering. Billed as the Primitive Line, Aizawa’s collection for Spring/Summer 2011 is a departure from the clean cut creations of his Tokyo peers and decidedly so. A clear division of tribal prints and ethnic patterns, each look is a representation of a fictional tribe. On a more approachable term, think of the tribal boundaries set at the Burning Man Festival with the exception that these looks will be mingling daily among the crowded streets of Tokyo. via: SxH // Fashionsnap
