Nike ACG Lunar MacLeay China Edition

What is a combination of running, hiking and a tribute to the MacLeay trail in Portland’s Forest Park? If you think in terms of sneakers, it would be new http://nike.com”>Nike ACG Lunar MacLeay which is a new silhouette introduced for http://freshnessmag.com/2010/06/16/nike-sportswear-fallholiday-2010-mens-footwear-collection/”>Holiday 2010. The new Lunar MacLeay combines Nike ACG’s outdoor performance heritage with cutting running edge technology such as the Lunarlon midsole and Dynamic Support.

The new Lunar MacLeay features a rugged upper with molded panels, outdoor-appropriate hardware aglets, integrated tongue tag pull and Lunar Elite-inspired thread. In terms of styling, the upper is slightly reminiscent of the Nike ACG Okwahn. For the China Edition, the upper is kept oriental in red and features a calligraphy-scripted “MacLeay” on the heel, which can be found on the classic Nike Talaria running shoe as well. The single red star on the tongue makes the shoe decidedly Chinese.

Since this is a China exclusive, this particular colorway in Solar Red and Moss Green might take a little hunting, but other colorways in Faded Taupe, Dark Army and Black will be available quite readily at your fine retailers in Holiday 2010.
