Gearing up for the upcoming NBA season, Dwight Howard, Toney Douglas, Wilson Chandler, Brook Lopez and Jordan Farmar appeared at the New York City NBA Store to unveil the new NBA threads, the NBA Revolution 30, the lightest and most technologically advanced NBA uniforms by adidas.

The new NBA Revolution 30 is ultra lightweight– 30% lighter and dries twices as fast as its predecessor, and thus will enhance players’ performance by keeping them comfortable on court. The new uniform are made from 60% recycled material and features adidas’ Formotion technology which reduces seams, thus reducing friction between the garment and the player’s skin. The front and back numbers have also been switched to breathable mesh to enhance weight reduction, and it can also absorb moisture in less than three seconds, thanks to adidas CLIMACOOL.

The new NBA Revolution 30 is a part of an “integrated and customizable uniform system” which comprises of adidas TECHFIT padded and PowerWed compression base layers and accessories to increase endurance and protect athletes from injury.

Aside from unveiling the NBA Revolution 30, adidas has also launched a line of limited edition versions, which are numbered and boxed with a seal of authenticity for 33 players including Kobe Bryant, Kevin Durant, Dwight Howard, Derrick Rose and Dwayne Wade. They are made in limited edition runs of 50,100, 250 or 500.
