Earlier this year, classic khaki label Dockers rallied for a masculine tradition often taken for granted, and urged all men to “Wear The Pants” in an aggressive campaign. After having brought khakis back into the spotlight from the depths of your father and grandfather’s closet, Dockers now continue to imagine what kind of pants can and will the contemporary man wear. And the answer? Slimmer khakis in a variety of fit and colors for Spring/Summer 2011.
Spotted at the Spring/Summer 2011 press preview for Dockers are a range of your classic khakis remodeled into a range of fits from the classic D3 to the edgier younger brother, the ultra slim DZERO. Also, the pack of cotton twill staples now come in a kaleidoscope of monochromatic brights of cobalt, purple, green, red and more (with matching button downs, knits and pullovers).
Taking the reimagination of khakis one step further, Dockers will also be releasing a line-up of purposefully distressed K1 (a classic military model) for the tough and rugged. Check out images from the preview and stay tuned for more detailed looks at the collection to come.via: Juncture
