Taking one simple, functional step at a time, Swedish rubber goods manufacturer, Tretorn, has been treading the world with its sensible Scandinavian aesthetics since 1891. While Tretorn had made a name for itself with its signature rainy day staple, the rubber boots. the label has much to offer in terms of quality, function and innovation for Spring/Summer 2011. As we step into fall with a new line-up of boots and casual sneakers available for the colder weather, Tretorn brought out a portion of its Spring/Summer 2011 offering as a quick preview for what to expect next season.
Cue sagacious classics like the Skymra Ripstop low-top slip-on (laceless, with elastic bands), and new models such as a mid top Smogen Mid Leather (a higher cut take on the classic boat-shoe inspired Smogen Leather) which also features Tretorn’s signature elastic cross straps. Meanwhile, for the unpredictable spring showers, everyone can use a pair of the Strala which now comes with chirpy colored soles (with matching heel tape). Check out five styles that were put up for preview at the Tretorn store in SoHo.
