Three times a year, Apple wows its fans with fresh releases, secure old loyalties, and rope in new converts. This year, following announcements of the iPhone 4 and the new generations of the iPod, Apple goes back to Mac this week and introduced the new OSX Lion, as well as a new generation of MacBook Air. Thinness once again triumphs, and now comes packaged with longer battery life and FaceTime camera. Technology aside, Nike keeps running and brings back a nostalgic event, the sports meet, but gives it a grown up twist and holds it at night with a crazy after party to follow it. On the New York side of things, Sneaker Con brought out sneakerheads and their treasured collections. Trading, and cool kicks ensued. Primitive, Dave’s Quality Meat and adidas Originals released a new line-up of apparel and lookbooks to go with. While DQM took their crew through New York City with their decks in tow, adidas Originals celebrates music with the Coastal Artist collection, and also a new collaboration with audio maker, Sennheiser. Last but not least, Freshness takes everyone on a trip through London, with the help of friend Chris George of creative agency, U-Dox. Check out what was hopping and happening this week after the jump.
