Nike x UNDERCOVER Gyakusou Apparel Collection | Available Now

Contrary to the notion that Tokyo’s densely packed urban center would not spawn any sort of sub-culture movement, let along one that is base on athleticism. Designer and creative director of UNDRECOVER, Jun Takahashi, almost single handedly ushered in a renewal interest in running Tokyo Style. Introducing the first segment of much anticipated Gyakusou International Running Association Collection (“Gyakusou” for short), a collaborative project between Nike and UNDERCOVER that re-engage one of Nike’s founding tenets, the everyone is an athlete. Featuring finite touches, high tech fabrics and new manufacturing process, along with laser-cut, no-sewn construct, Dri-FIT appliqués and other countless customizable solution for individual runner’s needs. The collection made its debut over the weekend at Nike Harajuku flagship with a limited commemorative collection also available at UNDERCOVER flagship in Aoyama. The collection will be available at select Nike retail locations in the coming months.

Like Adidas OT-Tech a bit. NSW takes Japanese street fashion and goes all athlete with it. Props.
