The Gangsta Track V2 is now available. BROOKLYN MACHINE WORKS (BMW) created the game-changing Gangsta Track frameset in 2005, and in the years since it’s become a symbol of the new fixed gear movement. The original Gangsta Track is popular with “tarck” riders and celebrities alike – Pharell is a long-time backer, and has commissioned several builds. Version 2 is updated with butted tubes, a gusseted down-tube, and stiffer rear triangle, and the frameset includes a BMW seatpost, fork, and an integrated headset – and early reviews from the fixed gear freestyle world are positive. BMW is a boutique bike maker, and produces in small batches, but given the celebrity backing BMW enjoys, the Gangsta Track V2 should bring the Brooklyn-based company’s cult appeal to a slightly wider audience. Available at Chari & Co NYC.
