Carhartt Fall/Winter 2010 Heritage Collection

First established in 1889 in Detroit for the hard-laboring American workers by Hamilton Carhartt, Carhartt had since moved on from the assembly line to the line-ups, and found quite a large loyal gathering beyond the stateside. With the evolution of the label, Carhartt had brought its expertise in durability and innovative design to a more contemporary audience with a fresh design perspective, especially in Europe and Japan. However, in paying tribute to the roots of Carhartt, the company has launched a special Heritage Collection.

The heritage collection is meant to recreate the authentic vintage look and feel, and is dedicated to the legacy of the label. Prints are reproductions of original graphics, and vintage fabric and production methods have been revived for the line. This season, a special selvedge canvas has been incorporated into the collection, and has been used in replacement of the trademark duck canvas. Aside from classic styles, a new Loyalty Pant will resonate with those who enjoy chinos and are looking forward to carrying the style into winter. The Loyalty pant is rendered in a corded bedford fabric, and employs a special weave construction that renders the fabric extremely sturdy and abuse-ready. So stay strong and tough, and sweat like a man with Carhartt, available in select retailers now.
