Sony Playstation x Nike Training – Move Pack

By - November 23rd, 2010

In celebration of the 15th anniversary of Sony Playstation, as well as the recent launch of the new console addition, Sony Playstation Move, Sony has teamed up with Nike once again, expanding their partnership which had been rather closely knitted since the Nike Playstation Air Force 1 and Air Max 90/360 and Air Trainer 1. This time around, the collaboration is not just a single shoe, but a rather extensive box set which comprises of not one, but two sneakers, and also a custom PS3, PS Move controller as well as camera.

In terms of sneakers, the line-up includes the “Move” Zoom Huarache Trainer, as well as the “Killzone” Special Forces Boot, where the latter is designed to also celebrate the campaign for the latest Killzone 3 release.

Both sneakers enjoy a bout of references and details, for instance, the graphic along the leather upper for the Huarache is based on the PS 15th anniversary logo, and the special blue reflective Swoosh is not only adapted from the color of Move, but is also a nod to the PS Air Trainer 1’s. Meanwhile, for the “Killzone” Special Forces Boot, all graphics, colorway and material have been inspired by the Killzone universe, and the “eye” on the boot is a special application which allows it to change color from yellow/orange to red based on the light an angle perceived.

As covetable as these box sets are, the large one comprising of everything from the console to both sneakers are gifted only to friends and family. via: SC
