Nike is releasing six truly unique sneakers over the next few weeks: on Novebember 26th – this Friday – it’s a ZM Paul Rodriguez 2.5 , an AF 1 ’07 LE , a Wmns Free Run+, and an Air Zenyth. The week after that, December Air Jordan 3 Retro Wmns Zoom Vomero+ 5. We previewed the Doernbecher Freestyle VII collection in October, and now we have high quality images of the sneakers. Just to recap what is so special about Nike’s Doernbecher project: each year, a group of patients at the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital in Portland, Oregon, are nominated by staff and their peers to design a Nike shoe. The children who design these shoes have used resilience, strength, and positivity to overcome serious illnesses. The design freedom they get goes way beyond anything at Nike iD – these children can design their own shoes from the ground up. The design freedom and the creativity of the designers produce some amazing results, which can be appreciated by sneaker fans and a wider audience. The shoes will be sold at Nike Town stores and at Nike.com, with all of the profits going back to the Doernbecher Hospital. Check out the amazing designs in full after the jump.
