Japanese footwear brand PIVOT by diffeducation have just dropped an interesting footwear, but before we get to the boots let’s start with the concept behind this brand. It’s parent brand Diffeducation is a fashion label with a tag line ‘Universal Function Design’ which sums it up nicely and they produce high end collection with attention on quality. On top of that, the brand founder Yoichirou Kitadake is also an avid lover of basketball and sneaker culture and has pushed both cultures in Japan for some time.
The first line of footwear are named MJ1.5 and it is easy to see why this name was chosen. However the additional 0.5 portion is substantiated by the use of premium cow leather, Vibram soles, urethane midsoles and best of all these are carefully hand crafted by a boot craftsman in Japan. This is a pure fusion of sneaker and boot silhouettes and it comes in the classic white/red/black, black/red and black/red colorways with two outsole styles. via: mita sneakers
