Blue, black and orange are not a likely color combination made– but, with TRON: Legacy’s release date fast approaching on December 17, many items have been graced with the brushes of those three shades. After Burton has released its special TRON: Legacy inspired snowboard boots, and Medicom Toy with a series of Be@brick and Kubricks that are bound to steal the hearts of men-boys everywhere, VANS has joined in the cyber fun with its very own collaborative TRON: Legacy SK8 Hi.
The classic SK8 Hi has been dressed in a cool black, with the iconic stripe worked in blue for that futuristic TRON-vibe, but the key lies in the details. The original tongue tag has been swapped out fr the TRON: Legacy logo, and grey paneling accented the laces eyelets and placket. Meanwhile, the lining is given a technical upgrade in silver. This is set to hit Japan’s ABC Mart this month.
