There probably aren’t any big surprise pieces in the December releases from Japanese label Deluxe, but what they deliver, they deliver well. We see some staple pieces for this season: for shirting, it’s a Western-type Buffalo check plaid, and a button-down with a slim button collar, in a light Oxford cloth. For pants, Deluxe is right on schedule with a slim-cut pressed Chino pant (and with one in a purple color, as seems nearly obligatory in Japanese streetwear this season). Accessories include a solid lightly-distressed leather belt, with buckles in brass or nickel. Rounding things out are a nice ribbed watch hat (appropriately dubbed the “Burglar”), and a fine example of one of the breakout hits of the year, the Tyrolean hat. Deluxe does the Tyrolean in a Burgundy, Gray, or Navy wool, with a black band, and a very appropriate feather decoration. Again, a solid collection from the “Street Taylor,” Deluxe. Check out the collection after the jump. These pieces are available starting December 11th, at Bridge Tokyo.
