When adidas Originals introduced its OT-Tech pack a while ago, the newly re-tooled sneakers has not only caught the eyes of sneakerheads, but also attracted a new target group of consumers whizzing about on bicycles with design details and features that bode well with paddling about in cities. The jagged teeth edges soon married a Tokyo streetwear sensibility (“OT” standing for Originals Tokyo) and various adidas Originals classics were re-energized with colors that don’t detract from simplicity. This coming January, the label of three-stripes will be dropping a pack of its reworked low-top Campus 80s.
And when given the OT-Tech touch, it simply means that the Campus 80s are endowed with vibrant colors, a canvas upper, leather three-stripes and suede accents and toe-caps. It might not sound like much, but the simple mesh-up of red with purple, yellow and navy, and brown with blue, topped off with a special OT heel tape should win over orthodox sneakerheads who enjoy a good change in colorway. via: CT.
