Along with prestige comes with hardship, an unspoken motto among bikers who tool part in International Six Days Enduro, formerly known as International Six Days Trial. Often referred as the “Olympics of Motorcycling”, the ISDE is the oldest off-road motorcycle race of its kind, testing the endurance of both men and machines. And because such durability is needed, English label Barbour became the unofficial outfitter for ISDE participants, including the late actor/adventurer Steve McQueen. In celebration of its heritage and 75 years of association with motorcyclists, Barbour introduced the 75th Anniversary International Jacket, carefully replicated to the original specifications. Each is then distressed as if worn for numbers of year, with distinctions that make each jacket unique. In total, only 75 jackets of each colorways will be available worldwide, including Distressed Original Green (see below), Original Green, and this, a commemorative edition honoring McQueen’s participation of the 1964 ISDT in East Germany. All are available at select Barbour retailers, including end clothing, or Barbour’s online store.
