With more muted palates dominating much of contemporary menswear, the time has seemed ripe for Nike to hit the vaults and release some earth-toned old school runners with a bit of pop. Using the silhouette from the 1992 version of the famed Pegasus, this release is somewhat reminiscent of an ACG palate, like the Air Mowabb, as it adds hits of orange on the side panels and the tongue in a mesh fabric. Apart from the blue on the tongue embroidery and the swoosh, cream white dominates the upper. A grey panel on the heel compliments the the midsole colors as well, bringing the design together. The black model uses a mostly-black upper with hits of purple and grey. If you’re feeling the retro colors and styling, hit up Crooked Tongues next month, who will have both available.
