The mannequins are back, in a lookbook showcasing the F.C.R.B. Spring/Summer 2011 collection. Football Club Real Bristol, the collaboration brand between SOPHNET. and Nike, has two main themes for the coming season: first are the functional athletic pieces, strongly influenced by contemporary European football equipment, that the label is known for. Second is a bit of a prep/Riviera yacht scene mash up, and the mannequins, which are a staple of F.C.R.B lookbooks, are shown mixing it up on indoor soccer arenas and seaside. On the athletic side, the collection includes a set of FILA-inspired tracksuits, and other warm up gear, plus a surf-short inspired all over flower print. On the preppy side, one standout piece is the navy blazer with a tonal F.C.R.B. logo at the chest. The yacht scene pieces are rounded out by some rugby shirts, and a collection of striped polo shirts. In total, it’s a collection that wouldn’t look out of place in the regatta or on the pitch, but is perfectly suited to casual Spring/Summer wear too. Check out the full lookbook after the jump.
