Among the free flowing clothing on display this afternoon at Christopher Raeburn for Victorinox presentation was undoubtedly the centerpiece – a limited edition Swiss Army knife. Part of Remade In Switzerland, a capsule collection headed by designer Christopher Raeburn, the knife, along with the 8 designs on display, attribute to the concept of recycle and reuse available resources. In the case of this specially designed Swiss Army knife, the hefty casing was created from smelter horseshoe nails. Reconstituted and left cool, the unprocessed final product presents a chiseled stone appearance. Limited to only 100 units, the handmade cutlery comes in a special packaging with certification plaque. Set to launch, along with the rest of Christopher Raeburn for Victorinox collection, this coming Fashion’s Night Out in September.
