They waited on the sideline like nervous understudies of a prestigious conservatory. As their cues come up, they filled into the Great Hall of Grand Central Terminal in single files last night for the performance of lifetime. To unsuspecting travelers heading home on Sunday night, it looked to be a large congregation of Dancin' To The Oldies, with exception of the full-on winter gears. But as the performance continued, the styles involved from ballet to tap to disco and on. Hired through Craiglist, paid with only $150 and a Moncler jacket, 363 dancers/models took part in the Fall 2011 Collection Presentation for Moncler Grenoble. Planned by Etienne Russo, known for his fashion extravaganza in Europe, dancers had only 5 days of practice, done in utmost secrecy that cellphone weren't allowed. By the 8-minute mark, the show started to wind down as passerbyers cheered in amusement. It also substantiated the notion why New York Fashion Week is like no others. via: NY Times
