Conceptually, its a fun exercise since its not everyday a designer can alter the logo of a global brand. But that is exactly what Kazuki Kuarishi did, not once but twice. After the launch of the Plant Pack, a 2009 collection which passed on without too much notice, adidas Originals tapped Kazuki for a second round this year. In black coated canvas with white sole and toe cap, the seemly simple Plants KZK features only one visible alteration, a stemming adidas Trefoil in the form of a red rose on the heel. No convoluted concept here, just pure Kazuki. Currently available at select adidas Originals retailers, like CONCEPTS of Boston.
