By - March 4th, 2011

Porter Classic is the new brand headed by Kichizo Yoshida, who recently branched out to focus on his own creative ventures. Just with his KICHIZO line, the Porter Classic collection as a whole is warm and posses an Earthy texture. The Palaka tote bag uses a fabric inspired by the palaka textile, which was worn by foreign Japanese workers in the Americas back in the day. The textile was constructed from scratch using carefully selected threads and colors that best translated the vision of the designers. Red and navy palaka patterns are available with cream enforcements and each bag is equipped with inner compartments that can contain small goods. ARKKABAN in Japan currently keeps stock of the bags.
