SoleHeaven x New Balance Ceramic 577

By - March 9th, 2011

Don’t let your eyes fool you, the images you are seeing is not a real sneaker. The glossy glazing might be the only detail hinting to the ceramic reproduction of the New Balance 577. Each and every detail is painstakingly duplicated by ceramic artist, Jon Lawrence and only three pairs are in existence today. Made from Cumbrian clay which can be found in the vicinity of the New Balance Flimby factory, these pairs are said to cost over £300 each. Two pairs are stored at New Balance, while the last pair is going to be given away to one lucky winner. SoleHeaven are holding a competition and all you need to do is to email them your name, age, contact number and answering a simple question, What year was New Balance established?, to with a subject that reads ‘Ceramic 577′. Competition will close 3pm sharp on Friday, April 1st. via: SF
