Nike Lunar MX+ Vortex | Spring 2011

Nike’s Lunar technology, aimed at making a shoe that’s super-lightweight and flexible. This model also infuses the visible Max air unit, a process which melds together the old and new in a model that has a definite heritage feel. The upper is contructed of a runner’s favorite–breathable mesh. The contrasting hits of blue suede on the toe and heel and lining. The gold swoosh adds the 1985 feel of the original release of the Vortex, which is re-interpreted through Nike’s modernization of their classic runners. Nike has been digging in the vaults for old school runners to re-imagine, and this sneaker is a great example of an update on a classic.  via: CT
