Jaguar XKR-S | Promo Video

The XKR-S represents one of the most radical design departures for the Jaguar in recent years. Aggressively vented, with an angularity and muscularity that has been missing in the staid company’s recent offerings. We previewed the vehicle in February, as it was released ahead of the Geneva Motor Show; now we have a much more clear and informative look at the vehicle, thanks to a new promo video. In roughly two minutes, the video showcases the details of the car – it’s aggressive fascia, it’s LED-laden headlights, and it’s carbon fiber body detailing – and goes on to show the car in action, putting some of the obligatory statistics (a 5.0-liter V8 engine with 405 kW / 542 hp and 501 lb-ft of torque; acceleration from 0-60 mph in 4.2 seconds, 0-100 mph in 8.6 seconds, a top speed of 186 mph) to use.
