Oakley x Stussy x W-BASE – “How I Roll” 26-Inch BMX Bike | Video

By - April 14th, 2011

A novelty offering for Summer 2011, Stussy enlisted help from Shibuya-base bike retailer W-BASE in the production of a retro BMX bike. What came out of the partnership was the “How I Roll” BMX Bike, a 26-inch cruiser style BMX circa late 1970s to early 1980s. Forged from 4130CR-MO alloy, with metallic blue alumite hub, rims, and other parts, the bike features Stussy’s Double-S branding on its frame and front end. A classic Stussy banter, “Ride Tough You Little Boys”, etched in Stussy trademarked script on the bike’s neck with provision from Oakley‘s back stock of its limited B-1B BMX Bike Grips. Available now at Stussy Japan Chapters and soon at Stussy’s online store. To see the bike in motion, Stussy documented one of the first model to take a cruise down the streets of Tokyo, from Shibuya, down through Omotesando, before reaching its destination at Harajuku.
