Supreme Spring 2011 T-Shirts
This week also included another release from Supreme, consisting of a number of T-shirts, plus a patchwork shirt, and a set of patchwork camp caps. The shirts didn’t set any records in terms of sell out time (though as of now, they’re virtually gone). This is likely in part because Supreme fans have been solidly catered to over the past months with Spring releases. True to form though, camp caps sold out in minutes.
Oakley opened a new flagship store in Times Square this week, and in doing so, entered a new stratosphere of the corporate universe. Freshness was on hand to cover the event too, which featured Oakley engineers and execs, skateboarder and Oakley ambassador Ryan Scheckler, and many, many fans.

And finally, this week brought episode 2 in the animated mini-series The Lebrons. In this week’s episode, the message was “be true to yourself.” In it, young Kid LeBron tries to impress a young Chinese exchange student with an ill-conceived stunt, which goes very awry. He redeems himself, though, by showcasing his true strength on the basketball court.
