uniform experiment x Leica D LUX 5

A successor to the D-LUX 4, the introduction of http://en.leica-camera.com/photography/compact_cameras/d-lux_5/” target=”_blank”>Leica D-LUX 5 last year assured the camera maker’s position in the point-&-shoot market with its 10-megapixel sensor, 24-90mm zoom lens, and the ability to record 720p AVCHD videos. In their reverences to the brand and the camera itself, designer Hirofumi Kiyonaga (http://soph.net” target=”_blank”>SOPHNET.) and influencer Hiroshi Fujiwara created a limited edition Leica D-LUX 5 based on their fashion label uniform experiment. In addition to the forementioned functions, the camera received subtle imprints of both http://uniformexperiment.jp” target=”_blank”>uniform experiment and http://fragment.jp” target=”_blank”>Fragment Design logos on its front, top, and back.  It premium leather case is etched with similar imprints as well.  Limited to only 200 units, the uniform experiment x Leica D-LUX 5 will be available starting May 11th with a suggested retail price of ¥120,000 or US$1,480.
