In a most extraordinary turn of events, premium auto maker Jaguar announced this morning that it will initiate the process for the production of the C-X75 Concept Vehicle. Unveiled at last year Paris Motor Show as part of Jaguar’s 75th anniversary celebration, the C-X75 demonstrated the feasibility between economical interest and the need for speed. It can reach 0 to 60 mph in less than 3 seconds, 0 to 100 mph in less than 6 seconds, and speed top out of 200 mph. Still, only produce 99 gram per kilometer of CO2 emission. All thanks largely to its hybrid powerplants – small gasoline engine along with 2 powerful electric motors, in addition to a 4-wheel drivetrain and an all carbon-fibre chassis. Not included will be the twin micro gas turbines on the original concept. But an unprecedented collaboration with Williams F1 means the top racing technologies utilized by the Formula-1 team will be in the C-X75 as well. Price to start around £700,000, or US 1,146,000 with limited production of 250 vehicles.
