Sans the headlights, these Suzuki GSX-R1000 are nearly identical as their road-legalized counterparts you get from the nearest Suzuki showrooms. Quipped with the same liquid-cool inline four cylinder 4-stroke, the 998cc displacement engine is just shy of the 1340cc cousin on the Suzuki Hayabusa, one of the world’s fastest street legal super bike. A favorite among the AMA Superbike racing circuit, the GSX-R1000 racked up an incredible 7-straight AMA Superbike Championships. In addition to a new model year, Michael Jordan Motorsports also added a major cosmetic overhaul to both of its bike. Number #23, piloted by veteran Ben Bostrom, is now gradient red with an accentuation of black towards the front. Of course, the Jumpman insignia is prominently displayed at key sections. In honor of its key sponsor, the National Guard, number #54, piloted by the youngest of the Hayden Brothers Roger Lee Hayden, is in all-white with silver star highlights on the rear half of the vehicle. With all 2 rounds of the 2011 season under their belt, look for both Bostrom and Hayden at the next AMA pro-racing meet in Miller Motorsports Park Utah on May 28th weekend.
