Following ASICS, Reebok, VANS, and Dr. Martens, Italian footwear label FORFEX is entering the fray this summer with its very own Sanrio Collection. In celebrating the caricature design house’s 50th anniversary this year, the Milan-base FORFEX selected 4, from Sanrio’s expansive 400 characters portfolio, as the base for its own renditions. From one of Sanrio’s earliest caricature, My Melody, to the most recent additions of Badtz-Maru and KeroKeroKeroppi, and of course the most famous, Hello Kitty, delineated in an all-over pattern on the FORFEX Space Boots, Rotten Lo, and Rotten Hi canvas footwear. Part of the special collection also include an Apple iPhone 4 case and exclusive shoe box with the same graphical imprints. The FORFEX x Sanrio 50th Anniversary Collection is set to launch next Monday, June 20th, at select FORFEX retailers worldwide, including Parisian boutique colette.
