CONVERSE Black Canvas Collection | Lookbook

By - June 23rd, 2011

Similar to its footwear collection, the designs found on the new CONVERSE Black Canvas Collection celebrate the label’s heritage as well as the embodiments of modernity. Though its not CONVERSE‘s first foray into apparel design, Black Canvas will be the first stand-alone apparel collection for it. This allowed its designers to take in inspirations from backstage of rock concerts, Army & Navy surpluses, to collegiate sports. Timeless as well as current, each of these “muses” are found in the collection’s flannel shirts, pea coat, cargo pants, and henley. Urban rustic intertwined with preppy chic, beneath the layering of washed leather jacket and herringbone tweed blazer, a French terry jersey rumbled to perfection. With Black Canvas’ expansive styles, the collection effortlessly covers all definitions of contemporary looks for men. You will find the new Black Canvas Collection at boutiques, department stores, and CONVERSE online store starting this month.
