By - July 2nd, 2011

The floodgate just opened… Limited to 2 pairs per customers, just released the Air Jordan V Retro – Fourth of July Edition (or as some call it “Independence Day”) Took hint from his stunning aerial shots, Nike designer Tinker Hatfield compared Michael Jordan’s “Flight” with World War II’s most famous fighter plane, the North American P-51 Mustangs, For flair, Tinker added reflective material to the sneaker’s tongue, creating a sense of urgency. Perhaps the design subconsciously affected Jordan’s game – he went on to score a career record 69 points against Cleveland that season. You can find them at this link.
