Merely 3 years since the financial meltdown, is the world truly ready for a premium grade cellphone? Apparently so according to luxury timepiece maker TAG Heuer. Christened as "Avant Garde Communication" devices, the TAG Heuer Link also earned the title as the first Swiss made luxury touchscreen smartphone. Similar to its wrist hugging counterpart, each phone under went the same rigorous Swiss precision engineering. No details or materials were spared, from the finest leather to the machine-polished aluminum frame works. Operated by Google's Android software, the touchscreen device also featured the same screw-down crown found on TAG Heuer watches. Wrapped with luxurious premium leather in plain or lattice work pattern, along with the head honcho in alligator leather. All models are now available for pre-order from Parisian boutique colette at a cost of €6200 to €4700, or $5682 US to $7500 US each. You certainly would not want to drop these phones...
