@lamibu: It may be cheaper but the quality is nowhere near that of a DSLR. It's a toy, at best, for those with money to burn. The reason most people take pics with their phones is because they're always conveniently around. The reason photographers pay so much for lenses is to get the best image quality possible. Somehow, someone managed to make a product that neutralizes the advantages of both products. The phone is no longer convenient to use and the advantages of the camera lens are countered by the phone's small sensor and substandard glass.

This option is cheaper than buying a new Canon Digital camera for over $600 dollars. I have the lenses I used with my Canon SLR 35 mm. If this works, I'd buy it rather than buying another camera body. I do not use my 35mm camera body. Anyone want to buy it?

For shure, this is a stupid product if you want to make quality photos. However if you have some Nikon lenses (or Canon), it could be an interesting gadget if you do not want to carry bulky accessories, bearing in mind that qthe quality of the photos will never equal those made with a Nikon F or F2. Numeric photography is like laptops, no sole.

This is slack. spending so much for SLR lens to fit onto ur iPhone. There are so many things u will not be able to do with iPhone. Firstly your photos will not be sharp and more like a dull images unless if you use professional lighting. Secondly it will shake a lot, by time u will focus a shot n lock. Flash will not work on iphone where as mount flash will require another expensive device. This is totally Fail.

Just saw the price... $249... Forget that crap!! I'll stick to my dslr, thank you very much! I thought it was like 50-90 bucks.. Who would spend that ridiculous amount of money on such a contraption? It's a cute idea.. And maybe $249 is cute enough for someone who has money to just throw around.. but I'm just the average person, and I would not spend that much on that idea. I already have my camera. My investments go toward the lens, not the adapters.

Melissa, the iPhone can do a lot more than my dslr can do.. I can take a photo with my dslr and upload it to my computer and work on it from there, yes. And I can upload it onto my iPhone from there too.. But the option to be able to take the picture, then edit directly from the "camera" (the phone) is pretty awesome! That means not having to wait 'til I get back home! Since my phone is always with me, I can be out with my dslr, and then decide, "hey! Let me take *this* photo with my phone" and then go back to my dslr.. However, there's no denying that the quality I get from my dslr will far surpass the iPhone's quality.. It's just a cool little option to have. I doubt someone would buy the lens without the camera that goes along with it.. Lenses are expensive! And for that investment, it only makes sense to own the actual camera.

If your going to use the big bulky lenses, why not just use the camera its supposed to be used with?? I couldnt imagine holding a dinky little camera phone with a medium sized lens attached. just awkward. If im hauling all those lenses with than im going to bring my nice camera to go with so I know Ill be getting the clear and crisp shots I want.

Doesn't seem really stupid more like the natural progression of cellphone camera's, I still don't want an iPhone but this seems cool if your into photography.
