Gallery1950 is a Japanese select store that sells furniture and interior products as well as producing their own in house apparel and accessories. This project marks the brand’s first collaboration with CONVERSE and by the looks of the finished shoes, it might not be the last. Rather than go the Chuck Taylor All Stars route, the refined Jack Purcell model was chosen and it is brightly colored in multi-colored accents. The iconic red Smile on the toe has been changed to yellow and the usually plain outsoles are colored in purple and blue. Orange insoles reflect the brand color and their logo is prominently printed in white on the right shoe and CONVERSE logo on the left shoe. Unfortunately these are scheduled for release in January 2012, so we will all need to be patient until the release.
