Fans of unusual typefaces should get a kick out of this one: “Type Fluid,” a typeface made up of letters that seem to be formed by exploding paint. Created by Skyrill.com, a Web design company operated out of Bahrain by two like-minded brothers, the project was inspired by the fascinating way fluids appear when floating in air or splashing on the ground. The brothers used RealFlow, a fluids simulation tool, to fill up letterforms with paint until they burst, ultimately allowing them to create a typography based on exploding paint.
